Motley Crue the final farewell, behold avid rockers for your heart is just about to break into 
pieces.
Why you ask? The hard metal and rock band Motley Crue that comprises of Nikki Sixx, Vince Neil, Mick Mars and one of the most famous rock Drummers Tommy Lee on Tuesday announced that they are set on retiring.
The group however said that they are going out with a bang! And announced that their last upcoming tour will be done alongside rocker Alice Cooper. It’s sad and unfortunate that after a 30 year run, this serious music group is calling it quits!
Their announcement was authenticated after the band jointly signed a formal Cessation of Touring Agreement that will come into effect by the end of 2015. The agreement was signed in the presence of Global Media in LA.
On January 28 2014 The group announced that in honor of celebrating their announcement of their final tour, they are set to perform on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live Tonight! And will also feature on an episode of CBC This Morning on January 29th.
Band member Neil mentioned how he will miss playing with the guys but insisted that he is not going to quit playing rock and roll, Neil continued to say that there are plenty of opportunities that are exciting projects after Motley.
On the band’s Twitter Page Neil commented that the band has always been a fan band and he believes that’s what people will remember about the band.
Cessation of Touring Agreement
The band members all agreed to sign a binding Cessation of Touring Agreement that prohibits any unauthorized touring and they all agreed that after successfully finishing the upcoming two year touring cycle they will all go their separate ways.
Lee blurted out that everything comes to an end someday and according to him, the band has always harbored a vision of going out with a Big Bang and they have no intention of playing county fairs and clubs!

A Glance at Motley Crue
Motley Crue is a rock and roll band that was formed in 1981 and it instantly became famous thanks to their huge rock hit Girls, Girls, Girls, other hit songs such as; Kickstart My Heart, Smokin in the Boys Room, Dr. Feel Good, and Home Sweet Home.
Home Sweet Home was recorded by Carrie Underwood and till to date is featured in a commercial belonging to Coldwell Banker Real Estate Group.
Unfortunately, in the 1990s the band went through a phase where there was a lot of in-fighting. For instance for a number of years Neil had left the band due to creative differences, the trio of Neil, Sixx and Lee all went ahead and launched their solo projects.
However, in late 2004 the original Motley Crue cast reunited and went on a tour. Many fans will confess that the band has elicited their attention all these years due to the unimaginable and out of the box drama that keeps them glued and waiting for more drama to unfold.
Finally: As the band prepares to wave goodbye to its fans, their Final Tour will begin in Grand Rapids, Michigan on 2nd July and it will continue performing in numerous other North American cities till November 2014. More touring dates will be released soon.
