Karrine Steffans (a.k.a. “Super Head”) Has a New Tell-All Book On The Way.

Whenever I hear the words “SuperHead” and “spill” in the same sentence, secrets is not what comes to mind. But I’ll leave that right there where it is (Just marinate on that for second). For those of you who don’t know who Karrine “SuperHead” Steffans, let me fill you in. She’s an African American Video Vixen (slash) Porn Star (slash) best-selling author of a juicy tell-all memoir titled “Confessions of a Video Vixen” . Its a cautionary tale, and emotionally charged memoir that ‘Superhead’ herself used to tell her story. This book gets to the dirty laundry that goes beyond the glamour of celebrity life; and reveals the inner workings of the hip-hop dancer industry. High lighting the physical and emotional abuse that’s rampant in the industry, which marked her own life—to the excessive use of drugs, sex and “bling-bling”.

From meager beginnings on the thirty-mile island of St. Thomas to New York Times best selling author residing in Los Angeles, Karrine Steffans has come a long way. Details of the first twenty-five years of her complicated, yet, thrilling former life and lifestyle are captured in the pages of her memoir, published by Harper Collins Publishers, making a biography almost obsolete.

Since Confessions debuted on June 28, 2005, Karrine Steffans and her sexually enthralling life story has been on both the lips and minds of most everyone. Among many other media outlets Paula Zahn, Donny Deutsch, Tyra Banks, Bill O’Reilly, Geraldo Rivera, Kathy Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb, and the queen of daytime herself, Oprah Winfrey have sought after Karrine and helped propel her into the limelight and even contributed satirical editorial to HBO’s Real Time with Bill Maher.

At the peek of her career, Karrine Steffans aka “Superhead” was the It-girl; chosen by some of the best in the rap and entertainment industry. As a famed video girl, this sexy siren has “helped” (or had casual sexual encounters) with multi-platinum artists, such as Jay-Z, R. Kelly and LL Cool J.

In a word, Karrine Steffans was the hotness! So hot that she made as much as $2,500 a day in videos and was hand picked by well-known film director F. Gary Gray to co-star in his film, “A Man Apart”, starring Vin Diesel”.
But the film and music video sets, swanky Hollywood and New York restaurants and sex-capades with the celebrities featured in the pages of People and In Touch magazines only touches the surface of Karrine Steffans’ life.
Her journey was paved with physical abuse, rape, drug and alcohol abuse, homelessness and single motherhood; all by the age of 26. By sharing her story, Steffans hopes to shed light on an otherwise romanticized industry and help young women avoid the same pitfalls she encountered. Her plan was to use this book as a means of assisting young women who’re already in danger of traveling down the same path find the encouragement needed to dig themselves out of what she knows first-hand to be a cycle of hopelessness and despair.

And it seems as if this was the initial intention, but the part two of Karrine Steffans accounts is questionable. Especially with such comments that feature words like “revenge”.

On Wednesday, “Superhead” took to Instagram to alert fans that she had more secrets to share, stating:
“Just because I don’t jump up and down trying to defend myself every time someone in my life says or does something negative toward me, doesn’t mean I’m accepting their b______. The most dangerous person in the room is the quietest. Over the years, I have fought very private wars and let the public spin. I didn’t have the energy to fight the world. I was too busy trying to save my own life. But, you see, the thing about writing is that you can do it anywhere, at any time, record everything, then kept it. Just hold on to it…until. After all, revenge is a dish best served cold and the best revenge will always be truth and success. I like to play dead. I like to lull people to sleep with a false sense of victory and when they have fallen asleep, I like to stifle them with my words…stab them with my pen…boil them in its ink. VINDICATED: CONFESSIONS OF A VIDEO VIXEN is on its way and nothing will be the same.”

Karrine Steffans even went on to tease fans about a potential television series in the works that’s inspired by the book.
