All of town had turned up to watch Drake performance. Despite him being a cool and sensitive rapper getting admiration from ladies, Drake’s performance in Sprint Center saw a sizable crowd of men attending.
Just as he took over the stage and opened his show with his rather long (Tuscan Leather” lengthy intro on his current album (third) that he is on tour for the crowd went electric! and ever body rapped along word by word.
Even though the intro isn’t a radio hit but rather a lyrical trick masterpiece. More than 90 percent of the sold out crowd rapped along every word. This clearly shows how Drake’s music is popular with many people.
Drake the Party Thrower
Regardless of the amount of hate and snide talk from critics Drake gets, his performance wasn’t meant for people wanting to shed tears, his 95 minute long set did the actual opposite. Drake went from song to song in party mode.
No one was able to hold on to their seat. Everyone was screaming and shouting as some sang along till they lost their voices during the electrifying performance. Starting from Headlines and Wu-Tang Forever and his lyrical verses on Pop That I’m On One and Versace it was a constant reminder that Hip Hop’s it guy was the man making it all happen at Sprint Center.
It’s difficult for today’s clubbers to go through a rave without jamming to Drake and his soulful yet lyrical music! Kanye West went further and termed this era of Hip Hop as Drake’s season. Kanye went further and retorted that Drake’s musical success pushed Jay-Z and him to make “Watch the Throne”.
Kanye’s Confessions
Kanye was the first to confess that there is just that thing that makes Drake infectious. His electric performances always evoke emotions and many in attendance are always seen Dancing, singing, rapping and screaming, (Not necessarily in that order).
Drake knows how to connect with fans. In Kanye’s own word’s “He proved as much during “305 to My City,”. Drake’s performance on an extension stage, attracted many in the crowd and he spent well over
ten minutes getting as close as he could to the audience throwing shout outs to all in attendance, from the dude in a funny hat beaming in happiness, to the sheepish bespectacled girl out to have fun watching Drake Perform.

As much as people were in a mad party mode, Drake had to end the show with a firestorm of hits. His performs on hits such as “Problems,” “The Motto,” “All Me” and the finale, “Started From the Bottom.” Were climax of the show.
His performance was arguably one of Hip Hop’s best this year. Kanye and Jay-Z now better up their game before since Drake is coming to occupy The Seat!
