DJ Pdub Joins Vyzion Radio DJ Elite Team

DJ Pdub was born and raised in the Bronx, New York, and started to DJ at the age of 14. At the time Hip Hop was just popping off and he learned this was going to be a big movement. A friend who was a DJ said “if you learn how to DJ you will never be broke and you can always find people who want to party.”

DJ Pdub grew up with the likes of Kid Capri, Africa Bambaata, DJ Breakout from the Funky Four Plus One, just to name a few. Growing up in New York you either played sports, break danced, rapped or DJ. Pdub actually chose to play basketball through High School but kept playing music as a hobby and hung out with some of the hottest DJs during that time, and became immersed in the Hip Hop movement.

During the 1990s DJ Pdub made his mark as a DJ in the Washington, DC area. He was mostly known for playing “B” side songs of artist and creating hits in the area; during a time when most people just listened to what the radio was playing, he made artist hot for their “B” side songs.

DJ Pdub played in the biggest strip club in D.C., which was frequented by artists and sports figures. Many where intrigued when they heard him play, because they said it always sounded like a party – not a strip club.

Pdub is a firm believer there is no such thing as Old School music, it is True School music that makes the difference. People just want to hear good music when they come to party. That is what its all about having a good time with good music.

As owner of HUT (Happiness, Unity, and Togetherness) Production Company, they have been doing parties up and down the east coast for the last 20 years.
