Deaths 2011
For all of its ups and downs 2011 has been quite the year. We have seen natural disasters that have humbled us. We have seen acts of heroism that make us proud. The seasons have come and gone and all holidays were met and celebrated in its special way. We

have honored the 10th anniversary of one of the most horrific moments in our country’s history and welcomed the news of the demise of the orchestrator of that event. We have watched so many of our brothers, sisters, mothers, fathers, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and neighbors struggle through the nation’s unemployment crisis. We have laughed and rejoiced at the good times and cried and consoled one another through bad times. We have, as a group, mourned together when someone who has impacted us all has left this world. Below is a list of notable people who are no longer with us us to enjoy games, Internet Radio, movies, people, pop it, the news, bbc, music, pop pop, what is hip hop and who radio.
Now some deaths are more notable than others. No disrespect intended to the less notable figures in the news. For instance, the one notable death that really saddened me this year more than most was the passing of Harry Morgan. Who was that, you say. As a child of the 70’s and 80’s, I grew up with shows like M*A*S*H whose eleven year run had me in stitches most of the time. Colonel Sherman Potter was the commander I would want if I every joined the service, but learning that commands such as his was fiction deterred my thoughts of enlisting in any service. One of the most notable deaths of the year would have to be Steve Jobs, who I like to think of as the Benjamin Franklin of our time. Steve Jobs was an American businessman and inventor widely recognized as a charismatic pioneer of the personal computer revolution. The former CEO of Apple is credited for basically changing our way of life with technology games, Internet Radio, movies, people, pop it, the news, bbc, music, pop pop, what is hip hop and who radio.
2011 also had some notable iconic deaths. The one most iconic figure that stands out would be Elizabeth Taylor. This movie star’s beauty has dazzled the eyes of the public with her stunning looks for decades while intriguing us with her many marriages. The standout notable tragic death for 2011 would have to be Amy Winehouse. This sultry singer from London had a troubled history with partying, alcohol and drugs that ultimately put her alongside other known performers who died at her age such as Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison, Kurt Corbain, and Janis Joplin in the infamous 27 Club and games, Internet Radio, movies, people, pop it, the news, bbc, music, pop pop, what is hip hop, who radio.
