DJ Alex Joins Vyzion Radio Elite Team
DJ Alex is an Italian/American born in Vicenza Italy. Growing up in a military family meant being constantly moving from city to city country to country. Between the ages 6-11 he lived on the East coast (New Jersey & New York) and that's when he got hooked on hip hop. When he visited his family in L.A. CA he was fascinated with the west coast sound,and became a huge fan of artist like N.W.A. - Dr.Dre - West Side Connection - Snoop Doggy Dog - and his all time favorite TUPAC SHAKUR.
In the early 90's DJ Alex moved back to his hometown Vicenza where Hip hop is just now becoming more mainstream and appreciated by the general masses.
Back when he was growing up in Italy he always stayed true to his personality and style, trying to spread and introduce hip hop and it's culture to the local teenagers in his school. He did this by organizing parties on school grounds for which he provided music for. At the age of 13 he started going to clubs (in Italy there isn't a strict age limit), and getting exposed to the night life, which he grew to love more & more. Luckily in his home town there is a US ARMY base so the most important HIP HOP CLUB in all Italy (PALLADIUM) was right in his home town and sure enough became DJ Alex's 2nd home. There he got to see live performances from artist like Coolio - EPMD - Rahzel - Pharoahe Monch - Afu Ra - DJ KOOL just to name a few...DJ Alex's favorite Hip Hop era and influence is from 95-2002 period.
At 18 DJ Alex started doing his first private parties, until he got his first real GIG (spinning for a pizzeria).
In a short time frame he started moving his way up to Bars and Pub's , soon acheaving his long awaited goal "REAL CLUBS". Through out DJ Alex's career he got to spinn in many famous and prestigious clubs in the northern regions of Italy. Helping put Hip Hop and it's colture on the map. He got the honour to meet and DJ for artists like Pitbull - Yung Joc - Shop Boyz - Mike Jones -Mario - Mic Supreme, and he is now resident DJ for a notorious Hip Hop Club in Veneto PRINCEVILLE Disco, he is also Ruff Ryder Entertainment artist Mic Supreme's (a.ka. Da Beast) OFFICIAL DJ when he is on tour in Italy.
