Raleigh NC Holiday Charity Event
When you think of the word hometown heroes I think of a group of woman in
Raleigh NC, that go by the name of Woman That Care (WTC) a

non-profit group that focuses on charity and assisting those in need. This Raleigh non-profit group was founded by Myra Bradley with a vision to help others with charity that were less fortunate. After planning, observation and prayer, she decided to begin an organization to assist and help. So she held a breakfast meeting on September 10, 2011 with 11 other woman; Colisha Wheeler, Renee Johnson, Alicia Brown, Maxcine Bland, Linda Graves, Nakeya Johnson, Trish Palmer, Shelly B and Nikki Bradley. These woman hit the ground running with helping people with charity events such as lunch in the park held in downtown Raleigh NC on October 8, 2011 where they gave out bagged lunches to the homeless. But these ladies didn’t stop there, they went on to carefully plan the next Charity Event Keep Raleigh Warm Day. This was a service event to help keep the homeless warm because many homeless people were forced to sleep outside because shelters in Raleigh NC where too full. So WTC gave out gently use coats, scarves, gloves, hats, and food in Moore Square Park in Raleigh NC.
But it didn’t stop there one night
DJ Ty aka Mr HipHopNc from Vyzion Internet Radio
vyzionradio.com, was on the computer on
facebook checking messages, when he got a message from Shelly B asking if people could donate to Woman That Care (WTC) for their Christmas in the Park charity event on December 24. They needed stuff like gifts for kids, coats, socks, deodorant, washcloths, soap and everyday personal hygiene products. The Women That Care (WTC) couldn't get much help from the local radio stations so they got the help from Mr. Hiphopnc and Vyzion Internet Radio and welcomed them with open arms to help out at their Charity event. While DJ Ty aka Mr Hiphopnc was working, he noticed hat no one ever stopped working until everything was handed out. But there were still a lot of people who went without. That day they all had one Vyzion and that to help the homeless. What DJ Ty aka Mr Hiphopnc realized by working with WTC is sometimes we lose focuse and complain about small stuff but remember there is always someone in a far more worse situation then you. Just take a ride to Downtown Raleigh NC and see for yourself. It’s not just in Raleigh NC, this is worldwide. Mr Hiphopnc is proud to have been part of a group of woman that truly cares about people. Vyzion Internet Radio and DJ Ty look forward to the next events to try and help make this event for Woman That Care (WTC) a huge success.

WTC is asking small businesses, families, etc if they can donate socks, scarves, coa,t cash donations, blankets etc. To help keep the homeless warm, please dig deep to help out, because the tables can easily turn and you could be in the same situation.
